Session Formats

Plenary Abstract Session / Concurrent Abstract Session
Abstracts accepted for oral presentation will have a total 8 minutes for presentation followed by 2 minutes for discussion.

Surgical Video Session
Video abstracts accepted for Surgical Video presentation will have a 7 minute video presentation followed by 3 minutes for discussion.

Featured Symposia
A Featured Symposium is moderated by two (2) chairpersons, four (4) invited speakers per session will give their presentation.
A total of ten (10) Featured Symposia is planned for the 2017 meeting.

Rising Star Symposium
The Program Planning Committee will award six young investigator/mentor teams, and the winning teams each give a joint 20 minute presentation.

The mentor will give a 4-minute presentation of the background information and previous data relevant to the topic. The objective of the mentor's presentation is to educate the Congress attendees on the importance and relevance of the work to be presented.

The young investigator will follow with an 8-minute presentation of the data submitted in the abstract. There will be 8 minutes allotted for discussion.

Vanguard
Grand Round Case Presentations/ Vanguard Debate Session:
These morning sessions will involve presentations of interesting or difficult cases by a Vanguard Committee member to a senior ILTS participant.
After comments from the senior member, the audience is encouraged to participate in a lively and informal open discussion.

Poster Sessions
The Scientific Poster Area will be located in the hallway of the second level of the Prague Congress Centre.
During the following poster viewing times authors are asked to be present to discuss their poster with any delegates that are interested to know more.
